They formed a company and named it dōTERRA, a Latin derivative meaning “Gift of the Earth.”
When you use a bottle of dōTERRA essential oil, you’re using an oil that is pure. There are no contaminants, fillers, or adulterations. The essential oil industry did not have standards to ensure purity, so dōTERRA created one.
DoTERRA is privately owned by the 7 executives. The founding executives used their personal money to cover all the cost associated with starting dōTERRA. DōTERRA is a completely privately owned multi-billion dollar essential oil company that is completely debt free and completely controlled by its executives.
